NIKONOS® Service and Repair

Not a pretty sight, is it? Well, unless you never get your camera equipment wet, it could easily wind up looking like this. What's a photographer to do? Simple. Just take care of your equipment the way Nikon intended you to. Have your camera serviced every year to clean and replace the internal o-rings you can't and shouldn't service yourself.

Corresponding sealing surfaces are inspected and cleaned. The metering systems of the V & IV-A are calibrated. All equipment is water tested to a depth of 130'. Turnaround time for an overhaul is approximately 2 weeks from the day we receive your equipment. (Note: Parts for older models are limited and may no longer be available.) Prices do not include shipping/insurance or applicable taxes and are subject to change without notice.

Repairs Repair estimate are free if we do the repair work. If the repair is refused, we will return the equipment to you unassembled. Reassembly of refused repair estimates is typically $35, and does not include shipping charges. Repair turnaround time starts at about two weeks from the estimate approval day. This time could increase if a specific part is not available due to a backorder. We will keep you informed. Shipping Instructions Carefully pack your equipment before sending it in for service. Include a note as to what needs to be done, as well as your return address, phone number, fax number if available and e-mail address. You may use the shipping method of your choice, (US Mail, UPS, etc.) but however you ship, insure the package for the proper value.
